A stylish French 18ct gold bracelet by Mauboussin c.1965, designed as two rows of small square bricks of varying heights and with different textured finishes, set flush together to form a cobbled effect with concealed clasp.

Mauboussin

Mauboussin’s story begins in 1827 when a gentleman called Mr Rocher established a jewellery workshop in the Rue Greneta in central Paris. Successful enough to survive for over forty years in a climate of political and social unease, the firm was taken over in 1869 by Rocher’s business partner Jean Baptiste Noury.
