A bold and stylish 18ct yellow gold and diamond bracelet by Georges Lenfant circa 1980, designed as a wide flat strap of matte gold woven links highlighted with rows of domed polished links and edged with a row of polished links, the centre front pinched together and overlaid with a large three dimensional domed X motif with round brilliant-cut diamonds claw set in platinum within a frame of twisted gold wire, to a concealed back clasp.

Lenfant, Georges

Georges Lenfant could be described as one of the unsung heroes of 20th Century French jewellery.  A hugely skilled designer and manufacturer, he was a Cartier workmaster and made jewellery for many of the top Parisian houses of the Place Vendome and rue de la Paix.
