A beautiful Victorian gold and pearl oval locket c.1880, the front decorated with a diagonal cross hatch pattern of fine deep blue enamel bands, the intersecting points set with a rose diamond point, embellished with half pearls in star-shaped gypsy settings, opening to reveal two glazed locket compartments, plain to the reverse and with a V-shape bale.
