A Beautiful Woven Gold Long Necklace

A beautiful Italian 18ct gold long necklace c.1970s, composed of sixty-six matching oval links formed of closely woven gold thread and with a concealed tongue and box clasp with safety catches. This lovely tactile necklace has a wonderful almost fabric like texture to it, the fine gold threads carefully woven ‘in the round’ to form these large hollow links with a soft sheeny lustre that catches the light beautifully. It has a satisfying weight without being overly heavy and can be worn casually during the day as well as dressed up for more glamorous occasions.
