Vintage 18ct Gold Strap Bracelet with Textured ZigZag Pattern

A stylish French 18ct gold woven bracelet by Marchak c.1970s, the bracelet designed as a tightly woven mesh panel with a matte textured gold background formed of hammered links with a contrasting geometric zigzag raised pattern in polished gold wirework with a polished gold double row border, with concealed clasp. The strap-style bracelet is beautifully flexible and feels very smooth against the skin, the pattern is bold and the two different textures of the gold ensure it stands out in high relief, the clasp is firm and bears the workshop maker’s mark of Georges Lenfant, this will come as no surprise to those familiar with the firms work as this style of bracelet is quintessential of their gold work of this period. A beautiful bracelet made all the more so by carrying both a desirable signature and maker’s mark together.
