A Gold, Pearl and Amethyst Gancio Necklace

A gold, pearl and amethyst necklace by Bulgari c.1990s from the Gancio collection, the short collar length necklace formed of twelve round cream pearls strung between two faceted amethyst rondelle bead spacers and joined by chunky gold twisted hook shape links, to a spherical gold bead shaped tongue and box clasp. This necklace is a bold and fun piece with a lovely weight. The warm rich gold contrasts beautifully with the cool pearly lustre of the pearls and the faceted amethyst beads catch the light and add a pop of bright colour. It is easy to wear and could be dressed up or down, worn alone or layered with longer chains or necklaces.
