A striking Victorian onyx and gold cross pendant c.1870s, the pendant formed of four rectangular batons of strongly banded dark brown and white onyx set together to form a Latin cross, the centre point set to the top with a round cabochon in gold collar, the reverse with a glazed locket compartment, with gold pendant loop, suspended from a gold snake chain with engraved barrel clasp.
