Van Cleef & Arpels

A Gold and Pavé Diamond Double Bombe Ring of Bypass Design

A stylish vintage gold and diamond cross over ring by Van Cleef & Arpels 1972, of asymmetric double bombe form in heavily textured 18ct yellow gold the front of each domed row pavé set in platinum with round brilliant diamonds of varying sizes, off-set from the centre in a bypass design, the shoulders tapering to a double band. This ring has great style, the rounded bands create volume and allow for greater diamond coverage over the deep domes for maximum sparkle. The textured finish to the gold adds a different dimension and a more casual feel to the ring than a smooth polished surface would which is enhanced by the asymmetry. A fabulous ring for day or evening, adding a little vintage pizzazz to your look.
