A Beautiful Pair of Baguette Diamond and Burma Ruby Cufflinks in Platinum

A beautiful pair of French Art Deco platinum, gem Burma ruby and diamond cufflinks by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1935, the double ended chain link cufflinks with four matching rectangular heads of domed profile, each set with a central row of five rectangular calibre step-cut rubies in a channel setting with four elongated baguette cut diamonds set either side with spaces between them, all in platinum, with a chain link including a bolt ring clasp for ease of fitting to a shirt. These stylish cufflinks are typically Art Deco and have an understated elegance despite their gem-rich composition. The domed profile creates depth and dimension and the stones have the quiet subtle sparkle associated with this style of cut. A really super pair of cufflinks sure to elevate formal attire with a touch of old world glamour.
