A Pair of 18ct Gold and Diamond Day to Night Door Knocker Earrings

A pair of 18ct gold and diamond day to night earrings by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1990s, of door knocker design, the earrings are formed of an oval ear clip pavé set through the front with round brilliant cut diamonds and suspending open, circular detachable drops in yellow gold which are embellished with round brilliant diamonds scattered across the front in decorative star settings. These convertible earrings are versatile and easy to wear both as diamond clips and as drop earrings. Their modest size makes them suitable for day to day wear and they would suit both casual and more formal occasions.
