Van Cleef & Arpels

A Bold and Stylish Vintage Gold and Citrine Cocktail Ring

An 18ct gold and citrine cocktail ring by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1961, the ring set to the centre with an oval faceted orange citrine placed vertically and tilted to one side, held within a finely crafted 18ct yellow gold swirl mount formed of multiple gold threads twisted up from the band and around the gemstone, every second one elongated to form a claw holding the citrine in place. This bold and stylish ring would bring a fun vintage feel to any outfit, the citrine is a good strong colour and has been well cut and the swirled gold threads add a feeling of movement and dynamism to the ring.
