Van Cleef & Arpels

An 18ct Gold, Round Brilliant Diamond and Onyx Cross Over Ring

A striking gold, diamond and onyx cross over ring by Van Cleef & Arpels c.2000s, designed as two tapering rounded bombe shape bands in a cross over design, the front one fully pavé set with round brilliant cut diamonds crossing in front of a band set with carved and polished black onyx. The crossover forms an elongated X motif to both the front and back of the ring whilst the domed profile creates volume at the front. The diamonds are well matched and are bright and lively, contrasting well with the opaque black onyx to creating a striking monochrome ring.
