‘Standing Pheasant’ Sterling Silver Sculpture(Limited Edition)

A ‘Standing Pheasant’ sterling silver sculpture by Lucy Kinsella, the limited edition finely modelled male Chinese ring neck pheasant stands with his tail raised, watchful and alert, his beady eyes warily observing his surroundings. He has been sculpted in Kinsella’s instantly recognisable style, her dynamic, impressionistic treatment of surface texture a reference to the clay from which she crafts her pieces. These beautiful birds are a common sight in the English countryside and whilst originally introduced for the purposes of game shooting, today large numbers live wild. This handsome fellow would make a charming addition to a mantle piece, table or sideboard and is the perfect gift for a shooting enthusiast.
