‘Great Crested Grebe’ Sterling Silver Sculpture

A ‘Great Crested Grebe’ sterling silver sculpture by Lucy Kinsella, the limited edition finely modelled great crested grebe glides serenely through the gently rippling water, its long elegant neck stretched upright and head topped with elaborate plumage. His narrow, straight beak and beady eyes give him a sharp, watchful air. He has been sculpted in Kinsella’s instantly recognisable style, her dynamic, impressionistic treatment of surface texture an immediate reference to the clay from which she crafts her pieces. This beautiful bird would make an elegant addition to any mantle piece, table or sideboard.

Kinsella, Lucy

“A desire for being with, observing and drawing animals has been with me from my earliest memory, so it comes as no surprise that as a professional artist I am an animalier.” Lucy Kinsella.
