Kinsella, Lucy

Chicken and Egg’ Silver Sculpture(Limited Edition)

A ‘Chicken and Egg’ sterling silver sculpture by Lucy Kinsella, the limited edition finely modelled newly hatched chick stands uncertainly, legs and feet wide, between the pieces of his broken shell. His eyes are only half open as he blinks and takes in his world for the first time. He has been sculpted in Kinsella’s instantly recognisable style, her dynamic, impressionistic treatment of surface texture an immediate reference to the clay from which she crafts her pieces. A charming little chap, he would make a delightful addition to any mantle piece, table or sideboard.
