A charming Victorian love birds brooch c.1870s, designed as a pair of birds perched on a branch with their beaks open singing sweetly to each other, set throughout with rose cut diamonds and with ruby cabochon eyes, the backs with finely engraved feathers, the branch decorated with leaves and a single flower with a diamond centre, the birds in silver and the branch in gold, to single pin brooch fitting.
