A bold and striking pair of ear clips by Ilias Lalaounis c.1970s from the ‘Byzantine’ collection, each designed as a large openwork stylised flower head formed of fluted bead shaped motifs in spherical or elongated melon shapes, centred with a cluster of seven round beads surrounded by a flared outer row of elongated shapes all terminated to the outer ends with a single tiny polished sphere, all in 18ct yellow gold and with clip ear fittings. These are a brilliant pair of statement earrings that create drama and impact as they are an inch and a half in diameter, perfect for the approaching summer months.
