A Striking Malachite and Diamond Cocktail Ring

A striking vintage cocktail ring by Kutchinsky 1973, of bombe design with high pointed dome either side of which is set flush with an oval piece of deep green banded malachite, the centre fully pavé set with round brilliant diamonds, forming a bow-tie shaped motif when viewed from above, all in an 18ct gold mount with tapering reeded band. A bold cocktail ring that beautifully contrasts the matte smooth areas of vibrant green opaque malachite with a band of bright sparkling white diamonds all set against the warmth of yellow gold, a great example of 1970s jewellery.
