Elegant 18ct Yellow Gold and Pearl ‘Mesh’ drop Earrings by Elsa Peretti

Beautiful pair 18ct yellow gold ‘Mesh’ earrings by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. 2000. Originally designed in the mid 1970s for a Halston fashion show, Mesh remains one of Peretti’s most iconic and instantly recognisable designs, synonymous with the easy to wear glamour of the period. The pieces are endlessly tactile and feel beautiful against the skin. The design has enduring appeal and over the years the collection has grown to include bracelets, earrings and pendants. Almost 50 years after it was originally designed modern women such as the Duchess of Cambridge and Jennifer Lawrence are wearing pieces from the collection, and it feels as contemporary now as it did then.
