A beautiful 18ct gold and diamond bracelet by Cartier c.1950s, the wide straight bracelet formed of twenty-four C shape motifs in 18ct yellow gold with rope twist detailing, each with a round gold wire following the inside curve which is set with three round brilliant cut diamonds, to a concealed clasp with safety. This bracelet is finely made and beautifully articulated, it is tactile and very comfortable to wear. The repeated C shapes create a lovely scalloped edge, the textured gold catches the light and plays off the sparkle of the diamonds whilst the openwork nature keeps it feeling light and elegant.
