A Pair of Two Tone 18ct Gold Triple Row Tubogas Hoop Earrings

A stylish pair of Vintage Tubogas earrings by Bulgari c.1980s, the wide flat hoop style earrings in 18ct yellow and white gold formed of three rows which curl under and hug the ear, the outer two are yellow gold and the inner one white all with the iconic tubogas pattern, to post and clip fittings. Originally launched in the 1940s and inspired by the woven metal covering designed to protect gas pipes, Bulgari’s Tubogas jewels had a chic industrial appeal. For decades they were made in gold until the 1970s when Bulgari craftsmen mastered the art of working with stainless steel in fine jewellery alongside the gold. The Tubogas collection has continued to evolve and today includes necklaces, earrings, bracelets and more. These earrings are a great shape and size that could be worn both day and night. The tubogas pattern elevates them in style above the average hoop and the two-tone metal makes them particularly on trend at the moment.
