An 18ct Gold Multi-Shape ‘Lucea’ Bracelet

An 18ct gold multi-shape ‘Lucea’ bracelet by Bulgari c.2000s, the flexible link bracelet formed of four oval and two round flat discs with open centres interspersed with either cylindrical or cube motifs, one end with a lobster claw clasp and the other with a length of trace chain and cylindrical motifs which enable the bracelet to be fastened at different lengths meaning it can be worn as tightly or as loosely on the wrist as you prefer. An easy, fun and stylish bracelet that can be worn alone or alongside a watch or other bangles and bracelets.

In 1880 a young Greek silversmith, Sotirios Boulgaris, arrived in Italy looking to build a new life. It didn’t take him long to establish himself and after a couple of false starts he opened his eponymous shop on Via Sistina in Rome in 1884.  He Italianised his name to Sotirio Bulgari and the firm that would eventually come to represent the very essence of ‘la dolce vita’ was born.
