An 18ct Gold and Diamond ‘Doppio Cuore’ Link Bracelet

An 18ct gold and diamond ‘Doppio Cuore’ bracelet by Bulgari c.1990s, composed of nine uniform rectangular links terminated with heart shape motifs and pavé set throughout with round brilliant diamonds, each link joined to the next with a plain oval loop, to a concealed tongue and box clasp. This is a lovely chunky bracelet with a great weight to it, the diamonds are of good quality, have been well matched and are bright and lively.

Bulgari

In 1880 a young Greek silversmith, Sotirios Boulgaris, arrived in Italy looking to build a new life. It didn’t take him long to establish himself and after a couple of false starts he opened his eponymous shop on Via Sistina in Rome in 1884.  He Italianised his name to Sotirio Bulgari and the firm that would eventually come to represent the very essence of ‘la dolce vita’ was born.
