A pair of two-tone gold and diamond ear clips by Bulgari c.1970s, of wide flattened curb link chain design in 18ct yellow and white gold, two front links set with round brilliant cut diamonds, to hinged clip fittings. These bold and chunky huggie style earrings are a real statement style hoop, the diamonds are high quality, well matched and lively creating a bold but wearable look.

In 1880 a young Greek silversmith, Sotirios Boulgaris, arrived in Italy looking to build a new life. It didn’t take him long to establish himself and after a couple of false starts he opened his eponymous shop on Via Sistina in Rome in 1884. He Italianised his name to Sotirio Bulgari and the firm that would eventually come to represent the very essence of ‘la dolce vita’ was born.
