Edwardian, circa 1910

Antique Natural Pearl and Diamond Drop Earrings

A beautiful pair of Edwardian natural pearl and diamond earrings c.1910, each articulated drop set to the top with an old cut diamond in millegrained bezel setting above a navette shaped link set with a single diamond suspending a run of three old cut diamonds in bezel settings beneath which hangs a single cream drop-shaped natural pearl, all to hook and clip fittings. These pretty, dainty earrings are typical of their period when ‘all white’ jewellery was becoming ever more fashionable. The pearls have a lovely lustre to them and the articulation in the earrings allows them to move freely with the wearer catching the light beautifully.
