A sapphire and diamond band ring by Van Cleef & Arpels c.2000s, the wide 18ct white gold band with square profile set to the front with a rectangle of fifteen invisibly set square step-cut sapphires flanked on each side by two baguette diamonds. A bold ring of simple design, strong lines and masterful setting it suits men and women equally well – a ring to buy a loved one, and then to borrow and wear yourself!
