Van Cleef & Arpels

A Vintage 18ct Gold, Carved Coral and Round Brilliant Diamond bracelet.

A stylish vintage coral bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels circa 1960s, designed as six uniform oval carved coral pieces with ribbed pattern set horizontally along the bracelet in 18ct yellow gold settings with elongated V-shaped claws to each end, interspersed with a band of round brilliant diamonds between two decorative rows of beads, to a concealed clasp. This elegant bracelet was made for VCA by the renowned Parisian workshop of André Vassort. Vassort made for many of the Place Vendôme jewellery houses such as Cartier and Boucheron as well as selling his own pieces. This bracelet was made for export to the American market and has a quintessentially 60s feel to it, conjuring images of suntans, kaftans and Manhattan cocktails sipped by turquoise waters.
