A Stunning Round Brilliant Diamond Line Necklace

A stunning graduated diamond line necklace c.1960s formed of a continuous highly articulated line of round brilliant cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 22cts, all in claw settings ranging in size from an estimated 1.2cts at centre front to 0.06cts at centre back, to a rectangular cluster clasp pavé set with diamonds, all in platinum and 18ct white gold. The high quality diamonds in this superb necklace have been well matched for colour and clarity and they are very bright and lively. They are set securely but without any excess metal ensuring the focus remains on the flow of diamonds around the neck. At 15”, the necklace sits around the base of the throat reflecting light up to the face in a wonderfully flattering light, it is an elegant classic.
