A Wonderful Pair of Retro Gold and Diamond Clip Earrings

A stylish pair of diamond and gold clip earrings by Cartier c.1950s, the stylised starburst design centred with a five sided dome of pavé set round brilliant diamonds within a three dimensional starburst of undulating golden rays of 18ct yellow gold, the rays shortest along the bottom graduating in length towards the top point, all to clip fittings making these gorgeous earrings suitable for both pierced and non-pierced ears. The earrings are a lovely size, wearable enough for daytime whilst still making a real visual impact, the diamonds are high quality and very sparkly and the three dimensional gold work gives the earrings great shape. They are very comfortable to wear and the clips feel secure without being too tight.
