A Delightful 18ct Gold and Gem-Set Dog Brooch

A delightful 18ct gold and gemstone brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1960s, finely modelled as a three dimensional little dog in seated position with large floppy ears and textured fur formed from gold wire, the eyes set with a cabochon emerald and two single cut diamonds and the tongue, which is poking out of the open mouth, is set with a cabochon ruby, with double pin brooch fitting to the reverse.
