A Charming Gold, Diamond and Enamel Dog Brooch

A charming 18ct gold dog brooch by Cartier, c.1960s, the little dog in a standing position and viewed face on, wearing a red enamel collar from which hangs a single brilliant cut diamond, the eyes set with onyx cabochons, the face with a sweet slightly quizzical expression with ears lifted, to a double pin brooch fitting on the reverse. The gold has been finely textured to resemble fur and the nose highlighted with black enamel to make it appear shiny. This little character is ever so sweet and would be a perfect tiny companion to pin to your lapel and take out and about with you. It comes with the original red leather box.
