A Beautiful Diamond and Platinum Garland Style Pendant

A beautiful Edwardian diamond and platinum brooch /pendant c.1910 of garland style design, the body of the pendant is circular in shape with inner swag motifs and surmounted by a stylised ribbon bow, it suspends a single pear shape old cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1ct, set throughout with old cut diamonds in platinum and with a detachable single pin brooch fitting to the reverse. This lovely delicate piece is set with bright and lively diamonds, either grain set within a channel setting or with rub over settings with millegrain edging. The suspended stones are well articulated and the lower swag also moves allowing the diamonds to really catch the light.
