An Unusual 18ct Gold Multi Textured ‘Brick’ Link Bracelet

An unusual 18ct gold brick-link bracelet by Mauboussin c.1950s, designed as a highly flexible articulated double row of small 18ct yellow gold ‘bricks’ each with one of five different finishes, plain polished, horizontal or vertical ripples and a fine or even finer irregular texture. The clever linkage allows the bracelet to twist and flex in a very fluid manner and the alternate textures of each individual brick adds visual interest as each plays with and reflects the light differently. A very stylish and easy to wear bracelet that elevates an everyday jewel into something a little more special.
