Edwardian
A Beautiful Pink Topaz, Diamond and Platinum Pendant
An elegant Edwardian topaz and diamond pendant c.1910, set with a beautiful elongated pear shaped pink topaz drop in minimal platinum claw setting suspended beneath a run of six old European cut diamonds in rub over settings beneath an openwork trefoil motif set throughout with old cut diamonds, all from a delicate fancy link platinum chain with tongue and box clasp, set with a single diamond. This is a wonderfully feminine and pretty jewel, the pale pink of the topaz is complemented with the sparkle of diamonds, all set off by the whiteness of the platinum. All settings are fine and discreet, the chain with its twisted bars is also very attractive. It would make a lovely addition to any antique jewellery collection.
