A 'Great Crested Grebe' sterling silver sculpture by Lucy Kinsella, the limited edition finely modelled great crested grebe glides serenely through the gently rippling water, its long elegant neck stretched upright and head topped with elaborate plumage. - Born in Hampshire in 1960, Kinsella now lives in Leicestershire. As an animal sculptor inspired by Barye, Degas and Bugatti, her work ranges from delicate table-top bronzes to life-size and monumental sculpture. Kinsella’s trademark is her expressive handling and fine detailing, capturing movement and energy. Her work is held in many collections in the UK and around the world.
