A stylish French amethyst cocktail ring c.1950s, set to the centre with a large emerald-cut amethyst set horizontally across the finger in corner claws to a tapering gallery formed of vertical rows of rope twist yellow gold embellished at each corner with two turquoise cabochons and at each side by a single round brilliant cut diamond, to curving overlapping shoulders and shank of multiple rows of rope twist gold.
