MAPPIN & WEBB

1774 is the first Mappin silver hallmark; the firm’s speciality in sterling silver developed as it was passed from father to son until 1869, when John Newton Mappin and his brother-in-law George Webb established Mappin &Webb as it is known today. The firm is identified with the finest silver, jewellery, watches and clocks, as well as a wide variety of gift items. Their high quality creations have adorned countless family heirlooms and have been represented at many national and international exhibitions. Today they are represented in many cities in the United Kingdom and the world, including London and Paris. In August 1990, they became a part of the Asprey group.
