Lacloche Peacock brooch
Our beautiful Lacloche diamond-set peacock brooch from the early part of the twentieth century has proved very popular with fair organisers. Here it is adorning the 'save-the-date' flyer for the Miami Beach 2011 fair. It has also made its way on to the front cover of the Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre Preview Party for the International Fine Art and Antique Dealer's show in New York on October 21st.
Also featured here is the magnificent Rubel Freres 'Wave bracelet' sold by us a few months previously. It is very positive to see the great highlights of our collection used to advertise some of the most exciting events in the Jewellery and antique calendar.
Van Cleef & Arpels - old adverts
After a rummage around online we came across this old advert produced by Van Cleef & Arpels in 1954. Amongst the beautiful pieces of jewellery on this ad you'll see some lovely diamond-set leaf design earrings which are currently part of the Hancocks collection.
