Decorated with a continuous fringe of die-stamped pendants styled as cicadas, suspended from gold coils on a loop-in-loop chain, length 15 inches, signed C.G. With original case signed C. Giuliano.

Literature
When removing the velvet base of the original case for this necklace, the name Giuliano is inscribed in pencil on the wooden core. A similar inscription is illustrated by Munn, Castellani and Giuliano, Revivalist Jewellers of the 19th Century, pl. 75.
